Coach Tom’s recent trip to the Marshall Islands as a sports ambassador for the U.S. Department of State in their Sports Diplomacy Program featured many newsworthy moments. Tom has been able to bring the support and love of the United States to this friendly Republic through sports clinics, coaches’ training, “Eat Right To Play Right” camps and school visits. Through his natural charm, reputation as an NBA coach and flashy Dallas Maverick’s World Championship ring, Coach Tom has been able to bring a message of health, happiness and hope to the kids and adults in the RMI.
